Cribbar in Newquay Churns out 30Ft Waves - 30-10-2011

On 30/10/2011. Scores of spectators stood on the headland to watch locals surf the biggest wave in England, as a big swell and offshore winds combined to make for some good big wave conditions at the Cribbar. Waves were in the 20-30ft range with two tow-in surf teams tackling the Cribbar (also known as the widow maker). Ben Skinner and tow in partner Richard Sills scored lots of waves on the day and this video shows a couple of them.
